• Scott Hinson

  Scott Hinson is responsible for the day to day trading in the global markets for FIM Group client accounts. The trading process includes identifying the broker relationships that will allow best execution of trades, best markets to execute trades in, creating pre-orders to identify the needs in number of shares or bonds, placing orders to buy or sell in a method that has the potential to get the best price for all of our clients over hours/days/ or sometimes weeks, assuring that trade settlement occurs as executed, and allocating the executed trades to the individual client accounts.

  Scott has been trading securities personally for 25 years and professionally for 15 years. He worked for a full cost brokerage firm, a discount brokerage firm and a registered investment adviser before joining FIM Group in 2002.

  Scott and his wife, Jill, have two sons – Rob, who attends Central Michigan University, and Drew who will graduate from Kingsley High School in 2008. The Hinsons are active in their local church and school/community activities. Jill and Scott enjoy attending Drew's high school football games, as well as watching Rob perform with the Marching Chips Band. Scott also currently serves his community on the Kingsley Village Planning Commission.
